CE marking (Conformité Européenne - “European Compliance”) is a special mark applied to a product, which certifies that the product complies with the essential requirements of EU directives and European Union harmonized standards, and that the product has passed the conformity assessment procedure. CE marking indicates that the product is not harmful (dangerous) to the health of its consumers, and is also harmless to the environment. adopted on July 9, 2008, regulates the rights and obligations for the use of CE Mark. According to this Decision of the European Parliament, there are recommendations of the European Union to the EU on the internal market of the EU on the turnover of products subject to mandatory labeling with the CE mark. In the countries of the European Community, administrative and criminal penalties have been introduced for violations of the rules concerning the use of the CE marking. Products that do not comply with the directives and harmonized standards of the European Union, requiring the application of the CE mark (CE Mark), are not allowed on the EU internal market. However, it should be noted that not all product groups require CE marking. The CE mark is the only mark in the countries of the European Union, confirming the compliance of products with European safety standards for humans, property and the environment.
